Day #279 | Week #40

This week was pretty chill. On Tuesday we had interviews with President Dester and it went good. Also, I had to go to Migración with my companion, because he needs to become a Catracho (people inhabiting in, originating from, or having significant heritage from Honduras). Afterwards we went to Johnny Rockets after and it was super cool.

We had an awesome experience hearing about one of our Investigators who had a dream that there was a great war and that only our church was standing in the end. It is so cool to see how God is answering her prayers. We are trying to help her and her "husband" get married. That's about it for this week.

Day #272 | Week #39

This week my companion, Elder Perry, and I were out in the heat of Honduras. We worked hard this week and we put up some baptismal dates with a few of our investigators.

We have this one investigator who is super awesome. She is progressing so much. I hope she will continue to do so. Also I got word that some of the investigators in my last area were baptized. I was so happy to hear the news!

This week ended up being spontaneous, because a lot of appointments fell through, but I felt satisfaction in the work, because we still found a way to teach someone or help someone in a special way.

Day #264 | Week #38

This week was interesting... on Tuesday I felt a little sick and eventually threw up on Thursday all night. I went to the hospital on Friday and they said I have a virus and gave me some medicine so I am just resting and I feel a lot better now. I think it was because I ate pig foot last Sunday. I had never tried it before and I wasn't sure what it was. Oh well, live and learn. There is not a lot going on this week, because we were in the house most of the time.

Day #257 | Week #37

Hey everyone,  sorry I don't have a lot of time to write a report. I am in the mission office today. I had lunch with the Mission President, President Dester. My new companion is Elder Perry. He is super awesome and his parents live sort of by the old white church in P.G.  The work is great here, but General Conference was amazing. I enjoyed all the talks and I really loved the talks on the atonement. It really helped me think about who we are and what we should do.

I hope you all  have a good week!
